Eggs may be expensive forever

Egg prices have skyrocketed in recent years, and many experts believe that this could be the new normal.

A combination of factors, including supply chain disruptions, avian flu outbreaks, and rising feed costs, has caused egg prices to hit record highs.

While prices may eventually stabilize, the fundamental issues behind these increases, such as the cost of production and the impact of diseases like avian flu, continue to affect supply.

Additionally, the increasing demand for eggs in both domestic and international markets has further strained resources.

Many producers are struggling to keep up with the rising costs of operations, and while the situation may improve in the future, there is no guarantee that eggs will return to the affordable prices they once were.

For consumers, this means adjusting their budgets and exploring alternatives like plant-based egg substitutes.

As the egg market continues to fluctuate, it's unclear if prices will ever return to pre-crisis levels or if this trend is here to stay. The rising cost of eggs may force many to rethink their shopping habits long-term.
