Lemon Blueberry Sourdough Scones (Fresh Milled Flour)

These Lemon Blueberry Sourdough Scones are the perfect combination of tangy, sweet, and buttery flavors. Made with freshly milled flour, they have a rustic texture and deep flavor that will make them your new favorite treat!

Instructions: 1. Preheat & Prep – Set oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper

Mix Dry Ingredients – In a large bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar. – Cut in Butter – Add cold butter cubes and mix with a pastry cutter or hands until crumbly.

Add Blueberries & Lemon – Fold in blueberries, lemon zest, and lemon juice. –

Combine Wet Ingredients – In a separate bowl, whisk sourdough discard, cream, and vanilla. Pour into the dry mix

Shape & Cut – Gently knead the dough, then shape into a round disc (about 1” thick). Cut into 8 triangles.

1. Bake – Arrange on the baking sheet and bake for 18-22 minutes until golden brown. Tip: Drizzle with a simple lemon glaze for extra flavor! 🍋 Enjoy warm with butter or jam.
