Only way to spur non-blooming peace lilies to flower - it's 'well worth a try' to Gold

If your peace lilies aren’t blooming, there’s a simple trick that’s well worth a try to encourage them to flower: adjusting their light conditions.

Peace lilies tend to bloom best when they receive the right amount of light. While they thrive in indirect light, they may need a little more exposure to bright, indirect light to trigger blooming.

Here’s how you can help your peace lily bloom: Increase Light: If your peace lily is in a dim corner, try moving it to a location with brighter, indirect sunlight. Be careful not to expose it to direct sunlight, as this can scorch the leaves.

Fertilize Regularly: A balanced, water-soluble fertilizer (like 10-10-10) can give your plant the nutrients it needs to bloom. Apply it monthly during the growing season (spring and summer). –

Temperature and Humidity: Peace lilies thrive in warm and humid environments, so ensure that the room temperature stays between 65-80°F (18-27°C)

A bit of extra humidity can also encourage flowering, so misting the plant or using a humidifier may help.

Repotting: Sometimes, peace lilies may not bloom because they’ve outgrown their pot. Repotting every 1-2 years to refresh the soil can encourage a healthier plant and may prompt blooming.
