Winter Storm Warnings for 6 States With 30 Inches of Snow To Hit

As of February 4, 2025, the National Weather Service (NWS) has issued winter storm warnings across six states, with some areas anticipating up to 30 inches of snow.

The affected states include Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, California, Oregon, and Washington. 

Higher elevations in Idaho are expected to receive the heaviest snowfall, with accumulations potentially reaching 30 inches.

In California, particularly in Del Norte and Northern Trinity counties, forecasts predict up to 12 inches and 24 inches of snow, respectively

Montana and Wyoming are also under winter storm warnings, with significant snowfall anticipated in various regions. 

 Additionally, parts of Oregon and Washington are bracing for substantial snowfalls. 

The NWS cautions that travel could become very difficult to impossible in these areas.

Residents are advised to stay updated with local forecasts and prepare for potential power outages and hazardous driving conditions
